P is for Pareto principle

For many outcomes, roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of the causes

The Pareto principle is also known as the 80/20 rule and it’s a simple way to think about prioritization. When working alone, you can’t do everything a regular company would do and the lowest priorities will simply be written off. Prioritization is more important than ever.

Think very carefully about where you’re focusing your efforts. Concentrate on the tasks that have the most impact on your users. Postpone or neglect tasks that are very time-consuming and invisible to your users.

If a large number of your users are requesting a new feature, focus on building it instead of spending days fixing a minor or rare bug.

Prioritize fine tuning the visual aspect of your app over its internals. Make it look clean and professional. This takes a lot of time and it will matter more to users than obsessing over having a clean and evolutive codebase that users never get to see.
